Good for pictures of the girls at different ages. If you are updating your home, take pictures of the before and after. If you have a special way of organizing baby’s stuff, take a picture of it and write notes explaining it.
The Layout today will be a redo of a 2013 Design Team layout. The original challenge was to add to the pattern layout with a Large Title, Tags and/or Patterned Paper to Page Pattern #141. Before we go into decorations and everything, let’s just highlight some of the different scrapbooking parties that you can have.
Scrapbooking - Baby Shower
Prizes for the games can also be all of the above and if you are having a scrapbooking consultant, she or he will have items to give out as door prizes. Check with her first before you go shopping for gifts and prizes since she may give you a discount. Some of the wrapping paper and gift bags may be used as lovely backgrounds for your layouts.
You could add the highlights, paste newspaper clippings, the lottery winning numbers for that day. You could also add your favorite song or the biggest movie at the box office on your baby’s birthday. Other things like cost-of-living indicators are also great to add, like the price of gas, milk, a cup of coffee. I want to share two more baby layouts I designed for Treasured Memories.
What to include in your baby scrapbook
As much as possible, you'll want to include items and activities from the shower in your scrapbook item. Use the colors and theme from the shower in your scrapbook as well. A DIY baby book offers an endless array of designs and it's a fun way to preserve family memories, especially of your little one. Journal your baby's birth information like the place, time, weight, height, and who was present on top of the page. You might want to include a couple of pages showcasing your baby's birth. When looking for quotes to write down, always look for those that give special meaning to your pregnancy journey and let you remember things that you've experienced along the way. Use three photos taken of the mom-to-be at a side view. Create one horizontal mat with three panels and place it so that the bottom of the mat is in the middle of the page.

The cards can be cropped and used to create die-cuts you'll love. The insides of the cards can be used as baby quotes for your layouts. Provide permanent thin-tip markers and ask guests to add a cute remark or phrase to the die-cuts. Look for the best places to incorporate the die-cuts throughout your baby scrapbook pages.
So, set a page aside in the scrapbook solely dedicated to the day your little one was born. On this page, you can include all newborn keepsakes such as the hospital ID bracelet and the birth certificate. If you want to, you can also get a picture with your doctor and nurses who delivered your baby and stick it in your scrapbook. You would think that the things that you would put in a baby scrapbook will be those from only after birth. Document your little one's firsts and include them on to your pages!
I did not use patterned paper, but did create a strip for the hand cut 1×10 sections using an EK Success Swiss cheese punch for a bubble effect that reflects the party décor. This dot pattern is repeated in the Title and the pattern on the carriage. The white strip of cardstock with the punched holes is applied directly to the limeade green grid. Several of the holes are filled with other colors of cardstock.
Baby Shower Scrapbook Ideas Arranging circles with letters for title on the block…testing the idea of a black circle behind each letter. This time Die Sets A, B, C were used to complete this layout. Prior to the shower, purchase or make baby-themed or baby related die-cuts.
Consider some of your baby’s favorite things, like a toy, song, blanket, etc. You can do this by taking pictures of your baby playing with the favorite toy, or print out the lyrics to a song baby enjoys. For the guests, you can give out cardstock, scissors, punches, embellishments and anything else that can be used for scrapbooking.
I included Bridget as far as what menu choices she would prefer and the date (she didn’t want to be surprised) – but we kept the Inn a surprise. I had someone else take pictures during her first shower here in Louisiana and she did a great job of taking a variety of pictures. I'm ashamed to say I was lousy at the job at her shower in Texas. Most of those pictures are of her opening her presents.
